2019 KIWANIS of BAINBRIDGE SCARECROW FESTIVAL
Registration fee is $25 per entry which includes a Scarecrow stand if needed. Scarecrow stands can be picked up at Cooper’s Plumbing & Air and The Post Searchlight during their business hours.
Prizes will be awarded to:
Best Entry by a Business or Organization
Best Entry by a School
Best Entry by an Individual
Most Creative overall
Themes: Scarecrows may be traditional, whimsical, humorous, mischievous, or lovable. Bloody or violent themes will not be allowed, nor advertising political or religious statements. Entrants are reminded that this is a family event and that Kiwanis reserves the right to deny any entry.
Construction: Scarecrows must be durable and able to stand up to sun, wind, and rain showers as they will be displayed from October 1 thru November 1. All decorations must be firmly attached to your scarecrow. Feel free to have extra props like bales, corn stalks, etc. The scarecrow must be taller than 4’.
Voting: All voting will be online at the following link. Please encourage your friends, families, co-workers to vote on your entry. You may post your entry and voting link on your website or Facebook page. Winners will be announced in the November 2nd Post Searchlight and on our Facebook page.
